'Never pay full price for late pizza': 25+ 90s kid nostalgia pics to take you back

You can't go back in time… but you can remember what it felt like.

I'd like to take this portion of the 90s nostalgia meme list to commemorate a true 90s icon: James Van Der Beek. You know him from Dawson's Creek, or if you have good taste, Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23. He passed away this week, so it's a great time to remember his impact on 90s culture. He was the quintessential 90s guy. He had the awesome haircut and the heartthrob face, and was great at delivering excellent TV during his time and up until the present. It's always strange when you lose somebody whom you idolized in childhood. You don't think of those people as people who could go away one day. So it's important that we remember them and thank them for their contributions to culture. It's hard to overstate Dawson's Creek's impact on teenagers in the 90s. 

It was unlike anything we had seen before, and the theme song is still stuck in our heads to this day. Nostalgia is an important factor in remembering what we love about life. If we don't look back on the stuff that made us who we are, then we might not realize where we came from. We might not realize the culture that made us love culture in the first place. But if we look back and recognize those little contributions to history, then we might come to understand more about ourselves.
